Coronary CT Angiogram
A Coronary CT Angiogram creates images of the arteries of the heart (coronary arteries) to evaluate for heart disease. It is performed with a CT scanner. Contrast is given in the arm. Medications are also administered to optimize visualization of the coronary arteries. Cardia Vision, LLC. has one of the fastest CT scanners available. It creates beautiful, diagnostic images of the coronary arteries. We are able to see very early and advanced stages of atherosclerosis. Every Coronary CT Angiogram comes with a Calcium Score.
Consultation with the Radiologist
Every patient who receives a Coronary CT Angiogram has the opportunity to review their examination with the Radiologist. Because this can be life-changing information, we encourage family members to participate.
